The Leominster Classic Motorcycle Club was founded in October 1991, and now has over 160 members, making it Herefordshire’s largest motorcycle club.
The club is open to all motorcycling enthusiasts in the area, no matter what type or age of machine they own, as long as they have an interest. The club promotes safe riding and all that is good about motorcycling.
Club meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month, starting at 8pm, usually at the Railway Inn at Dinmore, just off the A49 Hereford to Leominster road. Talks by visiting speakers are often arranged, as well as quizzes and social functions. On the third Wednesday of each month social pub nights are arranged at attractive venues around the county, when members and friends are encouraged to come along by any means of transport they prefer.
Many club runs, usually on Sundays, are organised for members throughout the year. The distances travelled range from half day meanders to 200 plus miles. Morning coffee, lunch and tea stops are usually arranged, or sometimes a picnic is suggested. The runs nearly always take in the beautiful, unspoiled countryside and the quiet roads we are fortunate to live amongst. More details here classic motorcycle club in usa.
As well as the Club runs, touring holidays, both in the UK and abroad, are arranged: sometimes for weekends, sometimes longer. A full annual programme of club events is published and sent out to members and is now available to view on the following pages.
